Join us this evening for new electronic music by Hunter students! 🎛️🎚️🎤🔈🔉🔊💜

December 11 and 12 (tonight and tomorrow night) at

December 11 and 12 (tonight and tomorrow night) at 7pm, Prof. Fifi Zhang will present "Corporeal", a showcase of contemporary classical music accompanied by experimental dance. Co-presented by City College of New York, this show brings electrifying and diverse classical music programming to Harlem, while emphasizing how sound and movement can inform and inspire one another. Musicians Graeme Steele Johnson, Giancarlo Latta, Aaron Wolff, and Fifi Zhang perform a variety of solo and chamber music written by living composers alongside dancers Marisa Clementi, ALEXA GRÆ, and Leah Wilks. The program features music by John Zorn, Viet Cuong, Reena Esmail, Zosha Di Castri, inti figgis-vizueta, and Gabriella Smith. The centerpiece of the evening is the world premiere of a commissioned work by composer Yaz Lancaster.
