Music, Talks, and Tea presents More than Music: The Function of Jazz

This event discussed the social function of jazz music starting from the end of WWII up to the end of the Civil Rights Movement. The Panel discusses Bebop and Post-Bop genres and how the music reflected and supported the lives of Black people during these decades.
