Prof. Michael Sheetz will be making his professional conducting debut at Carnegie Hall!

Prof. Michael Sheetz will be making his professional conducting debut at Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium on Wednesday, December 17th, 7:30pm with the Musica Sacra Chorus and Orchestra, featuring Metropolitan Opera star Kathryn Lewek. Featuring works of Bach, Handel, Corelli and numerous a cappella choral gems, this “Classics for Christmas” concert will warm the heart. Tickets are available here. Comp tickets will be made available to members of the Hunter College music department.

Prof. Sheetz has been the Assistant Music Director of Musica Sacra since 2013. With an active performing and teaching schedule, he holds additional conducting positions at The Greenwich Village Chamber Singers, the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in the acclaimed Concerts at St. Ignatius music series, and Classic Lyric Arts, an international summer vocal arts festival for singers and pianists.
