Analyzing Recorded Music: Collected Perspectives on Popular Music Tracks, edited by William Moylan, Lori Burns, and Mike Alleyne—which includes a chapter co-authored by Music Department Chair, Mark Spicer, and Lecturer in Music Theory, Stephen Spencer—won the 2023 Outstanding Multi-Author Collection from the Society for Music Theory.
