Adjunct Professor, Michael Sheetz, Conducts The Musica Sacra Chorus and Orchestra

Next Tuesday, October 26, at 7:30 pm, Prof. Michael Sheetz will be featured as conductor and organist for New York’s longest continuously performing professional chorus, Musica Sacra, at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on 112th and Amsterdam Ave. The program entitled “Basically Bach,” features a J.S. Bach cantata and orchestra suite as well as motets by his forbears; J.C. Bach and J.M. Bach. This occasion will mark the organization’s first live performance since December 2019. Prof. Sheetz will perform alongside Music Director Kent Tritle and the Orchestra of Musica Sacra.
