Adjunct Prof. Daniel Burwasser has received commissions for oboist Elizabeth Knott for a work titled “Kaleidoscope” and the Kalliope Reed Quintet for a work titled “False Awakening”. “False Awakening” will premiere on July 10, 2021, and will be live-streamed the following day. “Kaleidoscope” will be released in late 2021.
