Maurice Restrepo, an M.A. student in The Graduate Program in Ethnomusicology has been admitted to the Doctoral Program in Music at the CUNY Graduate Center. He has completed extensive research into Brazilian music performed locally and plans to complete his M. A. thesis, “Our Little Thing in Williamsburg: A Portrait of the Regional de NY and its Roda de Choro” (working title) in May. Maurice Restrepo earned his baccalaureate in music at New York University.
