Drummer, composer, and educator, Prof. Reggie Quinerly releases his fourth project, New York Nowhere. This project reflects the balance between the individual and collective experience of living in one of the most populated cities in the world. Mixed in with all the constantly shifting and deafening sonic scenes, Quinerly emerges with a concise musical message of hope. To assist in the recording, Quinerly enlisted top players Antoine Drye, trumpet; John Ellis, tenor sax; John Chin, piano; and Sean Conly, bass to bring together a diverse set of swinging, soulful sounds.
