On December 4th, Prof. Leah Batstone was a featured speaker alongside two scholars in the TEDxCUNY Salon Series.
The TEDxCUNY Salon Series explored the theme “Ripple Effects”, and how in times of struggle we are driven to action. Every action and decision has an impact far beyond ourselves and our communities, an impact that continues to be felt long into the future. When we act, and when we try to understand the actions of others, we consider how that initial action spreads outward, expanding to effect that which we may never know. The salon series looks to answer what are the consequences, legacies, and ripple effects we create when we act and why?
