On September 30, Dr. Coppola will meet with students in the graduate seminar given at the University of Western Ontario by Edmund Goehring–Mozart and the Promise of the Enlightened Stage, to which she has been invited to discuss her recent work on the continued relevance of gender, race, and class issues in the operas of Mozart, and to work with the students on the particular resonances of such topics in productions of Don Giovanni.
