Prof. Poundie Burstein is the editor of the journal SMT-V, which presents short, dynamic videos that deal with music theory scholarship. This summer the journal presented issues that deal with form in Bach cello music, the “dance chorus” in Top-40 music, and issues of text setting in Nigerian Ìgbò music.
