Professor Victor V. Bobetsky’s original choral setting of the ancient Hebrew prayer for peace, Oseh Shalom, has recently been published by Hinshaw Music. It is scored for four part chorus, a soloist, and piano accompaniment. The piece can be sung by choirs in both religious and secular settings and is well suited to high school, college, or community choruses. Professor Bobetsky is the Director of Music Education at Hunter College and Associate Professor/Urban Education at the C.U.N.Y. Graduate Center. His choral composition, Bring Us Your Love at Christmas, is published by Augsburg Fortress Press.
