Congratulations to Emerson Sudbury, the 2017 recipient of the Libbie Van Arsdale Memorial Prize! The prize is awarded to the “student who has shown the greatest progress in music.” This award was granted to Sudbury for his composition, Something Strange, which was performed by the Longleash Trio at Hunter College on April 5th, 2017 as part of the CUNY Premieres program. Something Strange is currently featured on the Hunter College Music Department Vimeo Channel.
